Biography

Orlando Bravo is the founder and managing partner of Thoma Bravo, one of the largest software-focused private equity firms in the world with over $130 billion in assets under management. He has pioneered the firm's approach to acquiring, operating, and growing enterprise software companies.

Under his leadership, Thoma Bravo has completed over 440 software acquisitions, establishing a distinctive operational playbook focused on margin improvement, product development acceleration, and strategic M&A. Notable investments include Sailpoint, Anaplan, Coupa Software, and Proofpoint.

Prior to Thoma Bravo, Mr. Bravo was a Partner at Bain Capital. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the leveraged finance group.
